Thinking about the value of food is something that i do a lot. I hate waste - we have a pig and chooks though, so nothing ever really goes to waste - but valuing the good foods and what they do for our bodies rather than the over processed junk that our society seems to live on {I was going to write 'thrive' there, but I don't think that's the appropriate word!} is something that we should all try to do. Even the smallest bit helps! I'll definitely be trying that brownie recipe. Though we've eaten pretty well for the past few years, there are times I have to reassess and realize we're going back to old habits (as I noticed recently). Right now I'm trying to cut out processed sugar and cut down on white flour. Enjoying the challenge so far. I have that book on order. Looks like a good one.
