at the op shop...



like laura, i was back at the op shops the day after i arrived home from nepal. i don't even think i had done a load of washing before i headed off to see what treasures were awaiting me! i clearly have my priorities right :)

here are a few of the goodies i have picked up in the week since i have been back...
*the loveliest typewriter that still works... eek! i have been looking for a vintage typewriter throughout the 10 or so years i have been thrifting and have never seemed to have any luck so you can imagine my delight when i stumbled across this one for only $8!
*a few vintage sheets for quilting, crafting and swapping!
*lovely woolen blankets!

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my last post... more Nepal photos to come but I will stagger them with regular posting so you don't get too overwhelmed!

    oh gosh that typewriter is amazing! How brilliant that it still works. I could only dream of paying just $8 for a beauty like that.

    I have not been op-shopping for ages...when I think about how long its been I can't believe it. Your pics have inspired me to start looking again though Kel, that typewriter, those blankets = love x

    Haven't popped in for a while and seen that you've been to Nepal. I was there 10 years ago while on a world trip and Nepal was one of my fave spots. I keep dreaming that I'll go back there when the kids are older.

    Glad to see you got your priorities right, it was karma with the typewriter. Well done.

    That typewriter is what I dream of finding too Kel, great hunting! Love the sheets and those blankets too, still need them on our beds here at the moment haha!

    a turquoise typewriter!!!???? OH YES!! well done girly. loving the sheets, that's a given. just started taking the millions of layers of bedding off my bed and whipping out the floral sheets ready for summer...yay! hope to see you at the oct rummage. much oppy love. xx
